Got an email about ways to know it's summer in Texas...I got a kick out of the first two, especially the first one:

1. The best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.

2. Hot water now comes out of both taps.

i've lived in a tropical zone and can sympathize very well with the heat of the Texan situation ;)

Yes, I can imagine you do! I don't manage oppressive heat like that very well. Don't really care for extremely cold temperatures either. *G* More of a middle temperature person right here. ^__^
