dahliablue. CNN's report on people having to leave their animals behind. I cried when I read the part about the lady saying she'd lost everything and wasn't going to leave without her pets. That would be so heartbreaking on top of everything else. A short statement and contact info for US representatives.
On a more mundane note, it's been a good day so far. Nate enjoyed his walk and search for squirrels, though all we saw were birds. Lots of jays and little birds. He even ignored the bicyclist! Amazing. :o)
