Iris Photos

I may have already shared these pictures of the Irises from 2003, but I found them while cleaning out my site and thought I'd share them again. My irises didn't bloom this year (except for the one that got eaten by slugs) so I'm needing the fix. ;o)

There are a total of four in what I'm hoping will become my photo/icon journal. I've had a lot of false starts on it, though, so we'll see. If you'd like to see the other three, here they are.

EDIT: Photos and this layout do not go well together. Ewwww!!

Thank you! And yes, that's the one I would like as well.

They only had a few varieties for sale the year we were there, so I ended up with fragrant lilac. Very pale, but deliciously scented!

Those are so gorgeous. I'd love to grow irises someday.

You don't have any irises? hehe. That's surprising, for some reason. I would think they'd grow fabulously for you. They grew like wildfire at the place where I grew up--terrible dirt and not much caretaking. I'm looking forward to finding a place of my own so I can get them out of containers. I think they'll do a lot better. :o)
