*sigh*

It was an incredibly long day. Everyone was stressed out, which really makes it not that much fun. But I was able to get through several of my piles, and hope to be in good shape for getting caught up by the end of the month. I have an extra day off Friday, so it isn't guaranteed. Oh well. Mental health is more necessary at this point!

Bravo is (randomly?) showing CSI: Miami episodes at lunch now. Yay! I'm actually starting to enjoy the show, though I'm baffled by how the basic premise is a bit different than it is in the Las Vegas one. Though maybe it's just differences by state? There's been a couple of things I noticed, but the only one I can remember today that Las Vegas has the CSI guys wait for the police to clear a house before going in, while in one of the Miami episodes Caine was clearing the house while the police waited at the door. Weird! Unless I'm totally misunderstanding and he is a detective and not a CSI guy? I've not watched the Miami episodes in any sort of order so I suppose that could be it. I still love What Not to Wear, but the lunch episodes are almost always old repeats that I've already seen once or twice. :D

I have a new betta! He is a beautiful red boy, with white tips on his fins. He was a little skittish the first day, but now he is proudly blowing a bubble nest and almost as social as Loz. Yay!! I need to buy batteries for my camera, and then will share pictures of both bettas.

Don't quote me on this, but I think I remember reading that is is different depending on where they work.
Think that he is a cop, as are the New York CSI dudes.

Ahh, well that makes more sense then. I was having a hard time picturing him in the lab, and him being a cop instead makes everything flow a bit better. Thanks for the info. ^___^

Congrats on the new fishy family member! :D

Thank you! ^___^

Your new icon is fabulous!

The two shows are completely different. CSI: Miami is basically Miami Vice. (lots of gun fights, things that go boom, etc.) I quit watching somewhere along season two. I quit watching CSI: NY also. For me, the Vegas version is what it's all about. :)

The Vegas version is amazing. Great ensemble cast and intriguing episodes. It's my favorite, but I've enjoyed the Miami episodes that I've seen. I'm not sure if I got over my Caruso-phobia or if the acting has simply improved over the years because I remember not liking the show when it was new. lol. I've never actually seen the NY version! :o)

Yay for bubble nests!

My girlfriend and I used to have bettas back in college. Alas, we got out of college, and moved, and the fishies did not survive the move for very long. Nonetheless, fond memories brought back. =)

Bubble nests are awesome! I'm glad you have fond memories of your bettas. They're gorgeous and charismatic fish.

There's older pics of my bettas there. I still have Loz and now Reno in the same tanks as pictured in that last picture. :o)
