Creepy and fascinating!

I actually saw this article this morning with my coworker and was fairly creeped out, but by the time she read the article I was feeling much more warm towards the giiiiiaaaannnnt bug. It's cricket-like, but absolutely huge.

Holy crap! That thing is huge! I just showed my mom and she freaked out.

It's so fascinating, though. That's why I love bugs. They're all so alien.

Bugs can be amazing like her - they kind of creep me out and I dislike them crawling on me, but I would agree that they're interesting at a distance like her. ;D I am simultaneously fascinated and scared by preying mantis(es?) and some of the prettier beetles, etc.
