A few pictures

Got my pictures back from last weekend's hike. That was such a fun day. And then when I came down off the hill, who was at the plum tree but my sister and two of the horses? hehe. Cool. She shared some plums with me, and we fed the horses some as well. Crisco (her horse) loves them, and Greydog (the other horse) discovered that he liked them as well, but he wasn't all that sure about the apples. lol. Horses are funny when they aren't used to eating something.

I like to go hiking. We own some wooded land outside of town and when its not really hot I love walking all over it. Its relaxing.

Thanks muchly! That's really cool that you have a good place to go get away from it all. I love getting to go hiking--it's relaxing, despite how tired physically you can get sometimes. Though I do agree--not in the heat. Then I just want to melt into a little puddle and not go anywhere. *g*

Thank you! I love my sister's horse, he's such a nice combination of absolute sweetheart/a bit of a brat, and he's so pretty. I think greydog's pretty as well, but I don't know his personality as well so..*shrug* :o)

i have to admit that i never was into horses much. i went riding as a kid a few times, but that's about it. i never was one to ask for a pony for the holidays.

hehe, that's okay! I was totally horse crazy, but I'm perfectly fine with the fact that not everyone is. I still love horses but I'm not nearly as horse crazy as I used to be. I remember riding my pony ALL summer and just anytime I could...now, can't imagine finding the time to do that. Bah, work. ^__^

great pictures! makes me miss being around horses. i haven't been around them since i was a kid and, even then, i only had a few opportunities.. i absolutely loved spending time with them. i wish i had the opportunity to go horseback riding every now and again.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed them! I love being around horses when I've got the time, that's for sure. They're such wonderful animals. Who knows, maybe in the future you'll get to find a stable where you can visit horses or something. Would be fun! *hugs*
