There were three horses in this pasture--a mare and older foal, and then a gelding. He was the prettiest, but wasn't all all that pleased with a camera. *g* My pic of the three of them didn't turn out, it was one of the movie ones and went all weird.
A few seconds earlier and he'd have had his head up--the sun was shining so prettily on him. This is still interesting, though.
The jays were so pretty, and so active!! Kept chasing each other all around, but Maddie scared them off when we fed them more food out on the farther platform. *sigh* Oh well, was fun while it lasted. Got to see a dove and some other birds as well. Neat! I hope we have a lot of birds in the area whenever we find a place. Strange how different locations draw more birds than others. (There really is one in the top jay picture on the platform, but I don't actually see it...ugh. Darn those shadows!)
