Those are great. Are you using Auto Focus? Some times when you are looking at big swatches of the same color there isn't enough contrast to focus properly. But these look great. I bet they are impressive full screen.

Good stuff - and yeah, I was going to ask about your focus. I've seen it in a few other pics, but you can especially tell that it looks "fuzzy" in the first shot.

Thank you very much for the tip! I just looked through the book that came with my digital camera and I don't see any way to make it not auto-focus. I'll hope for a bright weekend so I can use up the rest of my 100 film that's in my Canon instead, I know how to make it focus much better. ^__^

Thank you, and yeah, I noticed it too but wasn't sure what was causing it since I thought I was holding still. I don't see any instructions on how to take the auto-focus off of the digital, so I'll have to hope for lots of light this weekend so I can use up the rest of the 100 speed film. Darn clearance experiment, anyway. ;o) So, found a drawback to the digital camera, but still, it's fun to work with usually.

there SHOULD be a way. That was my problem when I bought mine I insisted it have manual focus, especially since I like to take pictures out of windows and through fences and do some composition. BUT, autofocus is SO much better for candid shots and hurried shots. I've had some problems with the AF going soft on me.

I had the worst time on landscapes where the sky and the lake would be the same color, the AF couldn't find infinity, just kept readjusting. And I freaked out, until I read that it needs some contrast...

I still like film, but this is so much fun. I have my art all hanging up in the house.

It's so much fun to explore when the leaves have just begun to change! It's hard to believe that while fall is just beginning for you and I, some states have already had snow..

I know! It doesn't seem possible, since things are so mild here. But I guess it is almost the end of October and not to be unexpected. *G*

Well, I'll keep looking, but it looks more like I'll have something on my List for things I want on a future digital camera. ;o)

I did discover that by upping the quality of pic and not zooming, things are a bit more clear. Experimentation is so much fun. *G*

That's awesome that you have your art hanging in your house! Way cool. My printer is awful, so I'm going to have to save my favorites to a disc and print them up at kinko's or something to be able to do that. ^___^
