I love cherry coke. Always have. I even like diet cherry coke, though it does seem to be slightly less strong on the cherry flavor. And, shallow though this may be, I love the new artwork on the cans! Neat colors, neat swoopy design, and little bubbles!! It's just so cool. And they finally came out with the new design on the diet! Yay! Simple pleasures rule, you know?

I've been enjoying your recent sky shots. They appear to be a bit richer and clearer than before (I may be wrong). In any case, nice work!

Thank you! I tried shooting with 2** quality instead of the 2x zoom, and I think that has helped with the color and clarity. Plus, the clouds themselves had more color that day, maybe that contributed as well. :o)

Ahh! Cool. Good decision. Yeah, mine has a digital zoom that goes beyond the initial zoom, and it's much more grainy so I hardly ever use it.

That was probably part of the problem for my first pictures then, because I did almost all of them on the zoom, so I could see those far away things a bit closer. I'm really considering looking into getting a zoom lens added on to my Canon Rebel, but haven't looked into it seriously yet. It's on my want list rather than my need list, currently. ;o)

Ahh, that's very good news!

Well, the holidays are coming up, and there's nothing wrong with getting yourself a gift. :*) I'm not positive offhand but this one (http://www.aaacamera.com/canon_75-300mm_f40-56_lens.html) might be the lens I added to my Canon Rebel. It's very good, and reasonably priced too. I got it at Best Buy. A list of other sizes is here (http://www.aaacamera.com/canon_zoom_lenses.html).

Beautiful pictures!

I LOVE those sky shots. They're so gorgeous - you're making me jealous. In New England, the sky varies from gloomy and oppressive dark gray to slightly menacing but ultimately benign light gray. Not fun. Sometimes I forget that the sky is blue. o_O

Right on with the Cherry Coke. Now that I'm watching what I eat, Cherry Coke is my my treat/splurge kind of thing. I love it so much, even if it doesn't quite pack the same caffeinated punch as Pepsi One (with which I have an intense love-hate relationship). I'll have to try to the Diet variety, though I'm not sure if the Hick Version of Super Stop 'n Shop even carries it. Eh, I guess it'll be something to look forward to when I go to the grocery store tomorrow. Diet Cherry Coke. Cherry Coke, but without the calories. Oh, if only life would be so good to me!

Forgive the melodrama. I had to read over 100 passages of literature this morning, and I'm just coming down from the language high. Heee! Now back to Daniel Deronda, which is consuming me right now. I heart Victorian novels, even if they are "loose, baggy monsters" (obligatory Henry James reference. AAAAAAAAHHHHH!) and take days to plow through. And after that, it's Russell Crowe Worship night. Mmmmm. Russell Crowe.

This has to be the most random comment ever. Eeep!

hehe, that's a very good point! Shall see if it works out or not, though. :o) Nice to have an idea of what to search for--thank you! I would definitely love to get one!!

Thank you! And all that grey sky makes for a bit dreary of a feeling, does it not?

hehe, I loved Pepsi One, but haven't had it for a while now. Got distracted with the vanilla coke and the diet coke with lemon/pepsi twists of the world. *G* Hope you're able to find the diet cherry coke and that you like it! Nice to have treats work out well like that. ^__^

Russell Crowe. *sigh* He's a lovely treat, as well. hehe. MmmHmm. And books that take days to plow through are a good thing, as long as they're enjoyable while reading them.

lol, nah, not random! Only the last little bit, and that's no biggie. Besides, we got to sigh over Russell Crowe, and that's not a bad thing! :D
