Yesterday...was stressful. Started out pretty good, and then went to pieces in the afternoon. lol. My supervisor went to the doctor about her back...it's bad enough that he wanted to do surgery this SATURDAY. O.o She could have permanent nerve damage if she doesn't do it soon. They're going to do it next Friday though, so she can train us how to do the things that need to be done. (i.e. posting payments, balancing end of day, refunds, all that necessary stuff that she's not had time to teach nor us to learn yet...arrrrggh).
I mean, it's not all bad. I am sure that we'll all learn it quickly enough. It's just the sheer unexpectedness that's shocking, y'know? Oh well. Hopefully the third doctor will get switched over and then I'll actually have time to do all the extra stuff. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed last night...we had our meeting at 5 which ran til 7, and then we did the end of day procedures. Soo...got home just after 8. And then proceeded to stay up too late because I simply wasn't winding down at all. I hate being tired and too wired to sleep at the same time. And I hate that stressy feeling where you're not sure you'll keep breathing normally. So far, no stress attacks or anything, but it came pretty close there for a minute, on the way home from work. I just need to chill out about it. Ugh. All I wanted was a bit of a break...instead, more stress. Figures.
Looking forward to another long day today. Oh joy. I mean, sure, the pay is nice that way. But sometimes I'd simply rather have the time. Doubt I'll go walking tonight...I don't really care for walking around in the dark in an area I'm not totally familar with. And I'm pretty sure I'll have to help close, so as to learn the process. Everything's changed with the new system. It looks like it'll make sense..just not in one setting. Where? What? Argh. Guess I'll just have to get back on track and take the dogs hiking this weekend. Just have a hard time making myself do that when it's grey and rainy out. *sigh*
