Wow. My sister and I went to see Lord of the Rings yesterday. Absolutely amazing. They did such an excellent job on the movie and the casting was superb. I will buy the DVD as soon as it comes out so I can watch it over and over again. lol. I'd love to see some of the behind-the-scenes type stuff, but that might not happen til they've released all three movies. Absolutely wonderful. The ringwraiths were dreadfully frightening, the Balrog was amazing, and just everything...was awesome. *happy sigh* They did such an amazing job of working with the size differences...after the first shock of 'knowing' they were doing it, I completely forgot that it wasn't really true. Wow.

Had an All Around Good Day today. Yay! My sis had the brilliant idea to take our Mom to go see Lord of the Rings! YAY! So, got to see it again today. Still highly impressed. Mom loved it and I think she may read the books when sis is done with them. *pleased* Then I want to reread them, because my memory retention sucks and they're huge books. (Well, one huge book. I've got the combined edition. It's a bit daunting looking at it all in one section like that!) lol.
