Back to the grindstone

Today has been really good so far, but it's HOT. Got lots done this morning though--taking four boxes of clothes to Goodwill later today! Whooo! I'm such a packrat, I'm impressed I was able to let go of that many clothes. lol. Even through out a lot of recipes that I haven't had time to get organized....it was beginning to get overwhelming, instead of pleasantly organized and soothing. So, out they went. Possibly threw out my 'new favorite' recipe, but at this point who cares, I won't even know I missed it at this point. heh.
Neat to go through some older stuff, though. Found some photos I had taken in high school art class, and the birth announcement for a teacher's foal that I had drawn for her. Pretty neat little trip down Nostalgia Lane. Once I get my act together, I need to start with the scrapbooking again--fun and useful. Be nice to have a desk to work at though, so that may have to wait til we get our own house.
Anyway, ate lunch and got a bit caught up online. Should get back to work on the bedroom, but it's actually going to look really nice when we're done with it. Yay!!!
