Only two more days left this week. Good thing. Had a nice surprise today though, the collection agency that we work with brought us lunch from hodgepodge...yummy! Teriyaki Chicken with a bit of a kick! There was enough for two lunches, so I'm set for tomorrow too. Yay! Nice to have something really different, as well.
Not much to say about work, other than the fact that the day dragged on a little bit, but between getting caught up on the transcription, the phone calls, and slogging through the p/a's, the day did keep a fairly steady pace. Caught up with the stack of p/a's that I had on Monday, so not toooooo terribly far behind even with taking one day off. So, that's good. But neither I nor Cynthia were able to look at the Coding Disc last night. We're going to try tomorrow at lunch. Fun, fun.
The little herbal buddy dragon smells really, really good. I heated it up last night and used it on my neck and jaws. Felt really good and soothing. Managed not to knock him off while sleeping, either, so that was really good. I forgot when I got the adorable dragon that the dogs are used to getting cute toys...their little eyes lit up when I took him out of the bag. O.o Whoops! I just got them a toy last week though! Sheesh. I can be such a restless sleeper sometimes--sheets go one direction, blankets another, and the pillows are everywhere...so I'm hoping the dragon survives. lol.
One thing I forgot to mention about the Fair yesterday--we left the Fair, made it clear to the grassy (shady) section by the road, and walked up that to the car. We came around one corner, and see some people eating on a blanket, no biggie. The young man pops up and kinda says loud, "You guys have a fun day?" Mom and I both nodded and said "Yeah, we did" and inquired about their day. We'd have left after that but the Dad kind of picked up the conversation so we stopped and chatted for a few minutes. Kinda odd, but kinda cool. Ended up talking about the Elvis impersonator, of all things. When we were at the car I told Mom that I didn't think I could ever be quite that bold about talking to unknown people, and she laughed and said that she didn't really think the Dad was all that comfortable with it either, but he felt he had too after his son started the conversation and then let it stop. LOL. That's too funny.
