The rest of today went well, if not spectacularly. Didn't find the horse set at Wal-Mart, so will check back later. However, did get my own copy of the Man From Snowy River and The Macgregor Saga: The Race. Not seen that one before, but it's related to Snowy River somehow and therefore must be interesting. hehe. Also found some really cool colored cd-r's and got jewel cases for them as well.
Managed not to go too crazy at the grocery store. Got the ingredients to make the brocolli-cauliflower salad this week. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. It's going to be awesome, one of my favorite dishes ever. Craving dinner tomorrow already. LOL. Stopped and looked at a couple places for sale on the way home, but they're totally out of range. Cute, though.
Took the dogs over to grandma's today so we could at least putter around the pasture. Probably midday would be safe enough to hike up the hill, but I'm still going to wait til I can get an orange vest for Nate before doing soo....much rather be safe than sorry. Anyway. It was muggy so we didn't walk long, but it was still fun. At one point we were going up the incline, and the steers were coming down, then stared in horror at me and the dogs. Right as they wheeled and ran off, Nate chose to go romping merrily up the hill...not even after them, just running around having fun. He stopped and came back and they disappeared over the rise. LOL. It was so funny because he was paying no attention to them at all.
I've only taken (well...kept) 17 pictures on my digital camera and already I'm down one bar on the battery! And I've tried not to keep the display on at all, so that's kind of scary. We got the software on the computer tonight so maybe tomorrow I'll actually get to play around on it and attempt to DL the pics off the camera. :o)
