Moon and Lilies

The other night the moon was so bright and full looking, and at the time was pretty low in the sky. So I experimented with a few shots of the moon where it was just over the easter lilies on the porch...not the greatest or clearest pictures ever, but I still like the basic effect. The first two I just sharpened and did minor brightness/shadow changes, but I think it's the hue I changed a bit more on the third one. *shrug* Just learning the new photo editor and having fun. :D

puffballs and mushrooms

Coming down the trail, found this huge mushroom! It was the size of my palm, easily. Kind of neat, though.

The other picture is of one of the puffballs on the ground. I used to love these as a kid, though when I was telling Mom about seeing them up on the trail she said, "Yeah, you used to love those as a kid. Especially stomping on them." lol. Well...they puffed! hehe. Like bubble wrap: addictive. But I managed not to stomp on any this last weekend. *G*

Dogs

I love how the one of Coon turned out--he was sitting in the trail so I aim my camera, but as soon as he saw the camera, he turned away. LOL. Made for an interesting attention focus though. The next picture is Nate and his new hiking jacket, which didn't seem to bother him at all once we got going. Whooo! The last one is just of some logs, apparently they've been thinning out a few of the trees in the last few weeks. Gee, don't hike for a couple of weeks and get totally out of the loop. *G*
