There was a bunch of shrieking happening on our porch so I sneaked over to the window to see what was happening. I still don't know if it was the chicadee or the jay making the weird noises, but I got to see an actual chicadee!! The one with the white markings on his face---so pretty!! I'm not sure which strain of chicadee it is that we have here year round, because their heads are solid black but otherwise look like they should. Neato!!
