I far prefer being optimistic to being pessimestic..but this is the third equestrian event that I've missed the first 20 minutes on. Why?! The schedule said 5-8 and appeared to be on PST, but since I turned it on at 4 to see what was on first and it was ON, I guess not. I mean, I'm quite happy to see an hour of it, but it's frustrating when it could have been an hour and a half. lol. Who knows what time it will start Friday morning--it's supposed to be 5 am, but is it really 2? And so on. Ugh. Whatever. We'll see, I guess.

Otherwise, it's been a good day. If hot. Got my grocery shopping done on the way home this afternoon, and picked up a Quesadilla for lunch. Also saw a bit of excitement--a small fire had started in the grassy area between the restaurant/grocery store lot and the freeway. But the Taco Bell manager and a Honey Pot truck both sprayed water on it to put it out, and then the fire truck came to ensure it was out. Excitement. *g*
