Cats and Dogs and Hamsters Oh My!

questionoftheday asks: Are you a cat person or a dog person? How about a bird person or a reptile person? A fish person? Why?

My answer:

Definitely an animal person, lol. As far as pets go, I do have a stronger preference for dogs. My family has always had dogs for companions. I miss my heart-dogs - Nate from many years ago and Stormy from earlier this year. So while I say my favorite is the dog, at the same time, I can't imagine life without a kitty. So it works out to live with family who have a kitty. ;)

Absolutely love horses! Life circumstances have changed so we are without any live horses, so I am enjoying my herd of model horses instead. I get to have ALL the colors and all the breeds, no feed needed, and zero poop pick up, so it's not all bad. ;D

So many wild animals that I love. My long standing favorite is the wolf. My new interest is the hyena. I am intrigued by the capybera. Love the big cats! The Crocodile Hunter changed my mind and I find them interesting now - from a distance, anyway. lol.

Cuteness!

questionoftheday asks: How easily swayed are you by cuteness? How many baby animals or kawaii drawings does it take for you to melt into a puddle of fluff?

My answer:

Super easily swayed, honestly. I like cuteness, prettiness, glitter and so on! Baby animals are simply adorable! While I'm a definite fan for realism and grittiness at times, sometimes you just need the super cute stuff to counteract all the chaos that is in life.

questionoftheday asks: Say you found yourself with storybook-type amnesia and lost your memory tomorrow, how likely do you think you'd be able to regain it just by going through your blog?

My answer:

Not at all likely. lol. Many years ago, maybe it would have been helpful. But lately not at all. I wish that I had more of an aptitude for journaling, especially in a super interesting way. But so far that has not been a good skill of mine! My favorite journaler on LJ used to be muse, but I don't know if her journal is even up any more. but she had a great way of relaying her stories, as well as including a ton of links to explain areas or thoughts, etc. I just was really in love with her style, but not good at emulating it. lol.

We'll see if this one cross posts to LJ correctly. I had to change my PW due to the reporting of a breach over there so the earlier ones from today did not work.
