It's almost Friday. Finally. Thankfully.
Got some good news today: The Collison Shop called up today and said that the insurance company had ok'd paying for the work on my truck!! YAYAYAYAYAAYAYAYAAY. That's a huge relief. Now just to find out when my supervisor is coming back...I'd like to take at least one day off and not have to deal with not having my truck for ONE day. All three days would be nice, but probably asking for too much at this point. That's okay, I can manage with indulging in just one fun day. *g* But, at least there's one thing off my list of things to stress out about. YAY.
Also, managed to get through some of the stupid paperwork on my desk at work and can now actually SEE parts of my desk that have been hidden for two full weeks. YAY! It is so very nice to finally be able to wade through some of the work that's simply not on the "most important" list but still needs to be done. Overall, today was a pretty good day. Got to go into work an hour or so later than usual...that was SO NICE. Just got to meander around in the morning and visit and wake up slowly. Very nice feeling! lol.
Got to see my best friend last night and her new place. Stayed with the wee one for a little while - feeding, walking, and then hoping he'd stop crying, while she took a shower and stuff. lol. Figures I'd get him right at one of his fussier times, but it worked out okay in the end. He's a sweetie. It was nice to actually get to spend time with them, and not be running around like a chicken with its head cut off doing ten million things! lol. Gonna go back out on Sunday and spend the night again. It's an adorable house! And the kitchen is absolutely awesome. The floor is black and white squares (it's vinyl, but looks like tiles, very pretty!), and then there is a border up on top that's a black background with pretty pink roses and green leaves...and there's a black border on the door going out to the garage and black blinds on the windows. Looks gorgeous! It's an older house, but it's very cute and after getting used to the layout, I think she's going to end up really loving it. Which would be nice. Anyway, it's a great place for now at least. :o)
Gonna go read for a bit. And tomorrow is FRIDAY.
