My background hasn't showed up for the last few days, so I checked the modify screen and it's there correctly...so went to the actual page for it to check it out, it loads fine. Come back to LJ and now it loads just fine. Yay! But weird.

I'd forgotten loads and loads of stuff from the Mummy! Sheesh, it's scary. *sigh* Brendan. :o)

The Mummy was cool, too bad the sequel was so awful.

Awful? I didn't think it was *that* bad. Maybe I'm blocking something major, though, I've done that before and hated watching a movie the second time through. I laughed at parts and jumped at parts and enjoyed the pretty people. heh. I remember thinking it was sort of 'hollow' emotionally but I've thought that about a lot of movies in the last few years and wasn't sure if it was ALL of them or if it was just me. :o)

I just thought the CGI was over the top and ridiculous in the second movie. Plus I didn't like the kid. And also, I agree the movie was emotionally very 'hollow'. :)

I hated the Scorpion King there at the end, that was truly ugly. I liked the statue-creatures and the waves and waves of warriors in the flashback scene. Don't remember anything else standing out right this second either way...faulty memory blocks in my head. lol.

Oh good, I'm rather glad to hear it's not just me registering it that way. I've wondered because I've not heard anyone else complain about it from some other movies that were big hits. Weird. :o)
