I'm lost behind
the words I never find
I'm left behind
as the seasons roll on by...

Isn't it rather odd how words on paper or the screen just don't match the power of words set to music? Chris Cornell's Seasons (off the Singles soundtrack) is like that for me. Just haunting and gorgeous and addictive. I've missed listening to it.

If I should be short on words
and long on things to say
Could you crawl into my world
and take me worlds away?

It's one of my all-time favorites. I've actually not listened to it for a long time...weird how some of your albums get buried, you know? Or when there's only a couple of songs on it that are adored, I tend not to choose that for my truck choices. ;)

Been going through some of my collection this weekend. Kind of nice listening to overlooked songs. Got the Cure on tonight. ^___^
