hey hey it's a sunny day

Today was excellent. Slept in (sorta good, sorta wasteful), weighed in (lost a pound! Whoo!), and went for a super short walk with Nate. Also swept the garage, vacuumed and made my bathroom sparkle and shine. Managed to finally get my overhead light in the bedroom to work, but the shower knob broke. Eeeee. Then this afternoon Heather came out--went shopped at Walmart and had a fantastic dinner at Pizza Hut. Mmm mmm.

Housemate came home a little while ago and brought me the coolest book of horse postcards. The photographer is very artistic in his shots, angles and focusing. They're black and white as well. So sweet of her. She also managed to get the shower working again--and as an added bonus, our hot is now hot and cold is now cold instead of being backwards. Yay!! LOL.

Do you get to go riding a lot? I miss it heaps. Sometimes I think I will definitely move to an acreage property so I can keep a horse, but then I wonder how I will find the time, and money, and if I can bare to leave my dreamhouse now that I have finally got it.

I actually don't ride that often anymore. The last time I did regularly was 2004 when I was riding the paint mare for D. I occasionally get to ride my sister's horse or my grandfather's, but not that often. :\

I know what you mean. I'd LOVE to have my own place and room for a horse, but realistically...it's hard enough walking me and the dog, never mind riding the horse often enough to keep us all happy. Still, it's a nice dream. I suppose I wouldn't have to walk the dog if he could run around with me on horseback. *G*

It would be lovely.. to have a property big enough for running a horse on, and any dog would love it too. Sounds like horses run in your whole family, nice that you have that in common :)
