Man, I'm so excited and nervous and happy and wound up all at the same time. lol. Gotta get packed and get a few more things done around here, and then get my truck to the shop....ack! Time is flying. Whoo! ^__^

Don't know that I'll be back online before I leave for Michigan, so just wanted to say 'see you later'.

Thank you!! It was great fun and everything was as safe as could be on a plane/car trip. *G* Michigan ended up being a very pretty state, and my friend and her family were absolutely wonderful. I hope to have the energy to make some entries later today, as I kept a handwritten journal while there. ^__^

keeping a handwritten journal is always a great thing to do..i used to keep one religiously, then slowed down. i'm trying to get back into the habit of it. there's nothing quite like looking back at your old handwriting, musings and doodles. :)

I'm always horrible about keeping a written journal! My pattern is to be really good for a couple of weeks and then never touch it again, until years later while giggling and reading it. *G* That's part of the reason I'm so pleased that I've actually been fairly consistent with the LJ, even if I'm rarely making deep posts. Something to work on, but I'm enjoying it regardless. :o)

i'm surprising myself with how well i keep up with lj too! maybe because i find it easier to type than write sometimes. and i must admit, the friends and support helps me A LOT! :)

Yes, the friends and support makes a big difference!! A little interaction, as it were. I tend to talk more on other people's journals than my own, which is sort of funny! But it's awesome to get to meet new people this way and also have a place to vent/exhort/challenge/relax. Hopefully not all of those things all at once, mind you. ;D I'd best get some sleep before I really say something silly. hehe.
