. . . I always liked Bast. Plus, neat synchronicity. I just started American Gods in the bookstore earlier this week (Tuesday?). At this point I'm at the "OMG I can't believe this is so good" stage, but then, I've just read the first chapter and I do think Gaiman is one of the three most talented writers currently alive that I've read and can think of right now, so . . . I just put it on order from the local library this morning.
