Well, wow. Semagic automatically transfers the font colors and returns and stuff from email. Too cool!
Aureus - True, perfect golden light, refined into an incomparably glorious scent. This is very bright and pretty. Unfortunately it isn't incomparable and glorious on me, so it will have to find a home where it shines more fully. ;D Mmm, well this one lasts longer than it seems because I woke up to find it still there in the middle of the night. Will have to give this one another try.
Succubus - Bat-winged, flame-eyed, and possessed of an unearthly, perfect beauty: <snip> Mimosa, orange blossom, neroli and bergamot with a drop of sweet clove. Hmm, this is quite intriguing. I'm not sure of the individual scents, other than I'm not really getting any of the clove. This is very pretty but not looking like it's going to last on me.
Purple Phoenix - Porphyrogenitus, indeed; we worked for it! Not simply the color of royalty, purple is also the color of sorrow and mourning, reconciliation and forgiveness. A regal, majestic, and somber blend of myrrh, plum blossom, African violet, cognac, fig, orris, lilac, wisteria, black plum, and Burgundy wine grapes. Very fascinating! At first application this seemed sheer grapes with something deeper behind it. It has a fairly short wear length - about 90 min. After reading the notes and reapplying it, I do notice that it is plummy grapes with the myrrh making it have that depth to it. Very different and pretty!
The Coiled Serpent - A potent yogic oil that stimulates the kundalini, provokes spiritual awakening, and releases the energy seated in your root chakra. Eh? What notes does that include though?! LOL. I actually really like this one - it's zingy and deep at the same time. It's got that cold touch to it that does remind one of a serpent, but it's also quite captivating. This one is still going very strong at 90 minutes and I anticipate it lasting well.
Grog - Arrr! Avast ye, matey! This be the scent of pirate rum! Mmm, yesh! Sweet rum. This actually makes me think of Creepy quite a bit. Yum! But not very strong on me, alas. Mmm, it's the one I'm getting hints of as I move around though. Hmmm.
Manila - A tropical, humid, lush scent, with a faint echo of Pacific breezes, jungle blossoms, and deep wet woods. Sampaguita blossoms, banana leaf, palm, and narra. Mmm, nice. This is indeed very tropical and pretty. Not really one I want to wear, but it might be a lovely room scent.
Megaera - The Unwilling, The Jealous One: Orris, black amber, bergamot, plum and grapefruit. Weird. At first this seemed all dark and menacing, then the plum and grapefruit come out and make this a very bright scent. Fascinating, but not one I want to wear again. Especially since grapefruit normally goes all hollow and yucky on me after a bit. ;D
