Today's been an interesting day. I hate, hate, hate being bored at work. I'd rather be busy, as long as there's no huge deadlines that mess everything up and make it horribly stressful. But, it should level out here shortly...in fact, with R and H being gone for two weeks, it probably will reach the horribly stressed point. Oh well. I'm almost thinking that's better than being bored at this very moment. LOL. I'll regret saying that, just you watch. *G*
Took a longer lunch today so I could run over to the credit union to see...how warm the water was. Turns out, it's not as cold as I was fearing! I'm going back in tomorrow with the necessary additional information, and do the actual application for an fha loan. *excited, nervous, sick to her stomach and bouncy with possibilities* We'll see what happens...I still don't know that it'll go through, but at least it's not totally laughable either. O.o
And then came back to work and read this:
Horoscope (by astrocenter.com)
((Today is a fantastic day for you, dear Leo. Put yourself into high gear and get things done. Pursue those activities that are most meaningful for you. Work with what resonates with your true self. Express your opinions and thoughts with others. Be courageous and openhearted. Share your enthusiasm with others. If a situation doesn't spark your interest, walk away and find something that does. Life is short. Live it while you've got it.))
hehehe...I don't believe in those, they're much too vague for my tastes usually. But this one does have interesting timing and makes me giggle. I'm pursuing...both artistically and living situation-ly! (I know, not a word, but oh well!) I'm being enthusiastic! It's like that bumper sticker I saw - life is not a dress rehearsal. Live it!! So...tamping down the depressed, freaked out half of me and letting my inner wolf rampage for a bit.
hahah...see what sleep deprivation will do to a person?!?
I forgot this was my siggy on Yahoo, it makes me laugh on the rare times I see it though. ^__^
"Duct tape is like the Force. One side is light, the other dark, and it binds everything in the universe together."
Man. I may scan stuff tonight, but more than likely it'll wait for tomorrow. My brief moment of hyperness is winding down. lol.

Congrats!
I totally understand how you feel about work - that's why I've been working at McDonald's for the past three summers instead of doing office work for a prof or research. Stress is kind of exciting, and boredom is intolerable. While I don't wish stress upon anyone , I hope it gets a little more exciting for you.
And that duct tape quote is GREAT! Hehehe.
Re: Congrats!
Thank you for the wishes for work, I do appreciate it! And I'm sure it will improve, just been a really slow couple of weeks lately. Ahhh. Oh well! *bounces* At least I'm caught up on a LOT of the little niggly things. LOL.
