Finally made it through the week. Today was pretty good, all things considered. Splurged on salmon for lunch today...YUM. And then a delicious fudge cake that someone brought in for L's going away lunch. We're losing some good people at work, which sucks. Hopefully their replacements will work well.

Got home just before six and took the dogs hiking. My sister got home early today and had already taken them up with her horse, but you'd have never have guessed it going by their reactions! Anyway, got to try out my new backpack, and it'll work out great. It's got TONS of pockets! I love it. It's even got room for pens and such, so I can take a journal and write down stuff so I don't forget it like normal....hehhe. Didn't get to see any lizards and the like, but did get to see some birds closer than usual. Tried taking pictures, but we'll see if they actually show up. Was watching the songbirds and thought I heard a HUGE bumblebee behind me, but turned out to be a hummingbird!!! So neat! ZZZZZOOOMMMMM! lol. My knee was killing me on the way down, hate it when that happens, but at least usually it only happens every so often.

Came home tired....ate dinner and took a shower, and then caught up online. Going to hit the hay shortly. G'nite!

I hope that you do get to see some soon, then! Hummingbirds are so cool. I've not seen any around our house, but around our grandparent's house and up the hill, they're there. It's still early so there's still hope for seeing them! *__*
