Goodness, I'm so behind in posting books for the year. This list is from JUNE and I was already behind. LOL. Will have to post July to current later.

It's freaking cold today! We had rain yesterday and then tomorrow it's going to be high 80's?? I don't like zig-zaggy weather like that. lol.

Fullmetal Alchemist #17

Endymion Spring by Matthew Skelton - really enjoyed this one! It's been too long to give a proper review, but it was fascinating and interesting every step of the way.

Tribute - Nora Roberts. Actually saw the movie before reading the book - both were enjoyable. The book, obviously, is more detailed and has more depth to it than the movie, but the movie was a nice way to get interested in starting the book. Enjoyable read, as always.

Promises in Death - JD Robb. Excellent as always - so many characters to love in this series.

My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding - a collection of short stories. I bought this book for Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden story, which was wonderful. Thought a couple of the others were just "eh" but really enjoyed most of them. Tacky was one of my favorites, so I've picked up my first Charlaine Harris book to read.

The Three Sisters - Rebecca Locksley. The front blurb says this one is a "Captivating read" and I was in the wrong mood for this book or something, because while I liked the warrior sister and the 'kid' sister a lot, this book was something I kind of slogged through. It should have been interesting and all, but I just had a hard time being excited about finishing it.

Sisters of the Raven - Barbara Hambly. This one I LOVED. So many twists and turns, and absolutely fascinating. Must read more of her books, and especially for this series.

Vanishing Acts - Jodi Picoult. This one was a bit of a mixed bag for me - parts of it I really loved and found fresh & interesting. Other parts were a bit...dull or something. Didn't really care for jumping through the multiple POV's, though at the end I understood the point of that. I liked it enough that I'll try another of her books, but I can't say that it was a complete hit for this particular book. ;o)

Sara Gruen - Riding Lessons. Thankfully I read this one before the other Gruen book I have, since they're the same family! lol. This is one of those books that I loved and couldn't stand to put down, yet I'm a bit hesitant to recommend it to just anyone. It's actually quite dark in some ways and the choices she made were not always the best (and you could see the disaster coming, you know!?). So if you like your books gut-wrenching and not always polished yet with a glimmer of sunshine in amongst it all, then this is an awesome book.

These three are all by Jonathan Kellerman - I hadn't realized I was so far behind in his books! I'm still behind. Oh well, at least I don't have to wait forever and ever for the next installment. *G*
Bones, Gone, and Compulsion. Bones was straight up crime solving - the regular kind of creepy perpetrator, you know? As regular as Kellerman books are, anyway. *G* The other two were far creepier and bizarre. Still loved them, of course, but they definitely had a lot of twists to the storyline and the bad guys ended up just being icky. On the plus side, there is another adorable french bulldog in the storyline and she is sooooo sweet.

Naruto - through 44. Love, love, LOVE this series! Painful yet uplifting. Can't wait for the next installment each time! ♥

I think that's it. LOL. Pretty sure I'll be able to make it to 50 this year at this rate! Yay!

15 of 50 so far. Zokutou's wordmeter is down again? Too bad, the little graphic is fun. I thought I had more books prior to June, so maybe not on making it to 50. Though I am re-reading the whole D. Gray Man series, so that's a chunk right there. :D
