Came home tonight with pizza....to discover the living room looking COMPLETELY different! lol. Thought that wasn't unti tomorrow. Anyway, the computer is now by the door so we can get some air, and I think once it's all done it'll be nice. Kinda weird right now, but that's okay.
It's been entirely too hot to go over the hill this week--even if I had so desired to try it, I couldn't pack enough water for me and the dogs, and they need it. So, I'm planning on getting up earlyish and go hiking in the morning. When it's still a pleasant temperature. I know the dogs and I will have fun--I'm craving it. I'm actually glad that I'm craving it, I think it's a good sign. *G* NO! Not a good sign of craziness! A truly good sign. ^__^
I need to get better about scanning pictures and uploading them to my aol site so I can share some...the fotki thing isn't really working out and none of my websites allow sharing of pics on other sites. So, AOL is it. Just dislike the actual pages, that's all! And it used to freeze after the 3rd or 4th pic, so hopefully that bug is gone. Ugh.
The admin at work today complimented me on my ability to multi-task. That's all to the good, of course, but I really don't like multi-tasking! I feel like my attention is scattered too much and nothing gets the attention it deserves. Ahh, oh well, the results must still be good if she likes it. Which probably means I'm doing that self-perfection thing again, and need to knock it off. heh. Yeah, sure.
And on that note, I volunteered my journal to be reviewed. I'm actually okay with the review, though some of the stuff she didn't like I've improved upon in the last month or so. She was able to say some nice things despite us having practically nothing in common, so that's cool. ^__^ If you want to see what she said heeeh.
I love that pink feather boa that Anthony Kiedis is wearing on the cover of Spin. Looks awesome, even if I can't imagine pulling something of that fashion off myself. *G* Anyway, I just had to share this one sentence from the article, the interviewer is talking about Flea, and this description just made me laugh. "He explains it in his usual way, by spitting run-on sentences like flaming watermelon seeds." hehe, I know, no big deal, but it sounds neat and...physical. I don't think I'm explaining what I mean correctly! *shrugs*
On my way to the truck today, these two guys in the vehicle next over were kinda flirty...hehe, kind of weird! But kind of fun too. Random people are so strange sometimes. :o)
I hate it when you can't read friends' comments or post your own post due to 504 messages....just do it!!! There can't be THAT man people posting all at once, can there truly??!!??
