Of course the one day we have to work late, no one is here who can set the alarm. So, I get to stay. What fun. Wish they'd get that balanced out a bit better so the people who have to stay with the doctor to help the patient had the alarm codes. Ugh. Oh well...hopefully it won't be too much longer.
Feel a bit bad about missing Rebecca's housewarming bbq tomorrow night, but I really am not feeling that social at all this weekend. More along the lines of highly anti-social, in fact. Maybe tomorrow will feel totally different, one never knows. Her puppy is 25 pounds at 4 months, so her pup may end up bigger than Nate even. Be interesting to see as he grows up.
I'm so glad there's leftovers for dinner, cuz otherwise I'd be bad and buy something on the way home. lol. This day is never going to end.
Sharon got the cutest kitten in her email--it's kinda smiling and it says "Please God, if you can't make me thin, make my friends fat!!" LOL. So silly, but it's the kitties face that makes it priceless.
One more patient left. Whew. This has been an insane week--we had one fracture emergency case at noon and then THREE this afternoon. That's highly unusual, which makes for the unusual late night. Doesn't make it fun, but oh well. :) Be home sometime tonight.
