Best friend came back home today with the wee one. He is SO very cute. Very much of a sweetheart. It's good to get to see both of them again. (Will cut the rest of my rambling, most of it is either baby or movie related from this point)
I haven't held a baby for many, many years. It's weird to be holding one now. He feels so incredibly fragile!! He's going to be such a busybody when he gets older - he already tries to turn his head around and SEE everything! And he likes to use his arms, a lot. lol. He's sooo cute. *happy sigh* He really, really, really likes his food, too. LOL. He's such a good little baby, I'm so pleased for my friend. Awwwww. He's only two weeks old and already he is such a tiny little man! Absolutely adorable.
Today ended up being movie day on TNT. We watched Footloose and The Breakfast Club, and then we switched to A&E to watch Pride and Prejudice. Colin Firth is a really cool actor, and they have lovely horses scattered throughout the movie. LOL. Anyway, it was cool to get to see Footloose again - haven't watched it for a long time. I forgot that Sarah Jessica Parker was in it! lol. Love the dancing scenes in it, even if it does look a wee bit dated now. *G* The Breakfast Club was awesome! This is the first time I've actually seen it the whole way through. I loved it. Though, TNT actually over-edited it a tiny bit...I'm not fond of cuss words, but they edited some that weren't a big deal and it was just SO obvious it was distracting. Oh well. Fun movie. Nice to finally get to see it.
My word. WAtching P&P makes me extra thankful for the ability to wear jeans, sweats, tennies, or whatever else we wear that is truly COMFORTABLE. Can you imagine wearing corsets and dresses and 'proper' shoes ALL the time?? No, thank you, anyway. *G*
Speaking of period pieces, I really do want to see Kate & Leopold. For one, it looks really cute. And for another..Hugh Jackman!! *dreamy sigh* Don't know when I'll get to see it, but it's on my list.
