Today has been the day for everyone having questions of why. So I'll add one: why is it that a low grade headache can mess you up so badly? I mean, it's not like one of those pounding headaches or a migraine, and yet still you manage not to focus on anything and just flounder along. Weird. Now that I've frittered away a couple of hours, I think I'll give up and take some advil. Since it didn't magically disappear after lunch...
Work went super well today. Spent over four hours in training the new girl, but that's all to the good. She had lots of practice at the slightly odd things that come up. lol. Ended up working til 1, but then got to go home. Wasn't sure I was going to get any of my half day, so that was a pleasant surprise. Less pleasant was the discovery that I'll probably be closing for the next three days, but oh well. Not a horrible one, really, now that things are different.
