hehe. I changed my journal's look all around. The colors will probably change again as I'm not entirely happy with the mix, but I'm tired and having a hard time focusing on picking "just the right" one. heh. But I got the dragon to show up! Even if you do have to just look at him in pieces. ^_^

Thank you! I am really starting to like the Batgirl book, and I definitely dig the art. I found another pic I am thinking of making into an icon once our computer and scanner are back up.

I like the art and the pacing of the Batgirl book, but a few issues around 5-8 made me drop the series. I may get it in TPB form one day. Now I just read them in the store... heh.

hehe, I figured you meant background. I've been real hit and miss about picking it up regularly, but I am enjoying it. I think I'm going to drop the last x-men title that I've been reading and get Batgirl regularly instead. It's much more entertaining, currently. :) But, at least you get to read them in the store. I feel guilty for reading them in the store and just flip through them, if that.

What was the X title you were reading? The only one I get is Extreme X-Men, because I like Claramont's writing and Salvador's pencils (they tried to ink his work and it was HORRIBLE!).

Yeah, the Zone has this nice and comfortable resturaunt (sp?) bench thing w/ red padding... so beautiful! ^_^

Don't feel guilty- tell anyone who bothers you that I said you could! Heh!

X-Treme X-Men was the one I was getting too! How funny. I enjoy Chris Claremont's writing a lot, and the artwork was wonderful. I'm just not excited by what's happening currently though, it's dragging out too long. So I'm going to drop it, but will probably keep an eye on it and pick it up again if it picks up to something interesting.

Right now I'm starting to get into Planetary, and I want to order a couple of Tick paperbacks. I've never seen any before, but I ordered something from newenglandcomics and they sent a whole catalog filled with Tick stuff! And one of the posters just makes me laugh til I'm silly, so I have to try a couple comics now. One of my online friends loves it, so I'm sure it'll be great.

LOL! Okie doke, will do that! ;) Actually, I kinda think the owner is okay with it. It's just my personal paranoia. lol.

I've never read Planetary or Tick yet... I flipped through a few Ticks before, but they weren't as funny as the cartoon. Yeah, I'm picky... heh

That's cool that you're sticking with it as long as that creative team stays. I got too tied into the "MUST collect every single comic for ever" syndrome, so I'm trying to be pickier that way and drop it when I'm not enjoying it and then feel free to go back. We'll see how it goes. So far, so good. I haven't keeled over yet.

I've not been able to see The Tick cartoon. Heard raves about it, but I haven't gotten any of the channels it's been on. Sucks to be me. :) So I'll start with the comics and maybe find some taped episodes somewhere. lol.
