Slept in a bit this morning, and then went hiking with the dogs. Fantastic hike--sunny but not hot, and a light breeze. I love days like this. Even saw a glimpse of a deer through the trees...could hear him delicately thump, thumping down the hillside, and then saw him flash through the trees onto the logging road we had just been on. heh. Too bad I couldn't have gotten a picture of him, but it was too far down. I'm just happy to have seen a deer at all, haven't seen many this year.
Ahh. Company coming at 2. Gotta run--have to take a quick shower and then go get pizza for lunch. We're assuming they've already eaten, but we'll get two just in case. Besides, leftover pizza is always good. ^__^ Grocery shopping after they leave--oh joy. But neessary!

Wait... I'm a city guy! Visiting is cool, but too much nature is... too much of a good thing! hehe

If we all liked the same things all th time, life would be pretty dull. ;o) (And to tell you the truth, I'm pretty much the same way--enjoy visiting the city, but wouldn't want to live there at all!)
