dragon_moon: buckskin horse (eye by gimmie)
Well, turns out that that seminar tomorrow would eat up 2 hours of my afternoon off, so managed to get this afternoon off instead...still lost an hour, but that's much better than two. Wish I remembered how to make a fire cuz it's cold. *sigh* Oh well.

These pictures are from Friday night, the sunset was absolutely fantastic. Drove around and got a few pictures from different angles...pictures never live up to what your eye sees, but the reminder sure is nice.

Pretty nice - question, though. What kind of camera do you have? Is it digital? It still looks like some of that is coming out fuzzy, and I wonder if there are some settings that could be tweaked to improve it.

Yeah, all of these lately have been digital. It's a eVision MegaPro. I probably should have shopped around more before getting it, but..didn't. Got too excited and just bought it. heh. It's got some settings for landscape vs. flower, for 2x zoom, and then 1, 2 and 3* settings...which, most of mine are on the 2x or 1* setting. I should try out the ** or *** settings, but they take up a lot more room on the disc's memory so I haven't yet.

Anyway, I don't see anywhere on the camera or in the book how to make it non-automatic on things. Next time I'll test out the higher quality shots and see if that helps, though you can't do the higher quality and the zoom at the same time...hmmm.
