Thanks so much! I live in Oregon. These pictures are the view from our back yard. lol. My digital camera is a eVision MegaPro. First ever digital camera for me, and I'm totally loving it. My film camera is a Canon Rebel G and it has much more versatality, but I am really enjoying the instant payoff of the digital. ^__^
Awesome! Hope that you find a good deal on one that you like. I found out (after I bought mine, of course!) that you should look for one you can take off automatic focus for better focusing on saturated color (like the fall leaves/trees). But, alas, mine does not. Oh well, it's still wonderful to have. :o)
Pardon me for saying, Tristanwolf, as I wouldn't normally say something like this on livejournal to a stranger but if that is you in your user pic, you are quite handsome. Sorry. I just noticed and had to say something *sheepish grin*
Thanks! I'm so very happy that the pictures are turning out so well. It's been a very gorgeous year! I'm even starting to 'frame' pictures in my head as I'm doing everyday stuff...it's starting to become second nature, and I'm loving it!
My Mom is more like that as well. In fact, she pretty much refuses to take pictures anymore--doesn't matter what she does, it's either out of focus or totally off center (i.e. half a head), or whatever..she really doesn't enjoy the results. lol. It's part of the reason why I don't have very many pictures from childhood! Nuts!
get a digital camera and shoot away, it isnt that hard,
if you are somewhere pretty or has something interesting, im sure the pics will get better and its what you see that will become the subject of good photos,
i bet if you just went out one day and shot a bunch of photos of the sky, animals or nature they will be good,
Very good advice on the pictures...I've noticed that I'm having a better ratio of pictures that I'm happier with now that I've been taking pictures consistently all year long, and especially now with my digital. I'm more comfortable with trying stuff because it won't be a waste of money (with the developing and all). lol.
And thank you so much, ossie, I really appreciate hearing from you. Hope that you have a wonderful and peaceful weekend. :o)
