Had a good day today. Well, other than a lousy night sleeping. Woke up every few hours, and then slept through the alarm. Grrreeaattt. Oh well, still had time to get everything done in the morning that I needed to do.
Went over to V's house to help set up for the baby shower. Was a bit nervous, as I've only met her once before, but it turned out to be cool. Her hubby's...different, but nice. lol. Anyway, helped her finish cleaning up and get the punch ready, stuff like that. Then we got nervous waiting for everyone to get there, but then people started arriving and it was all good. Still a bit awkward making conversation, but overall I didn't do tooooo bad. *G* Played silly games but everyone got a kick out of them, so that's great. Even got to visit with H for a bit, which was really nice. The baby was an angel the whole time. Whew! And he got lots of really, really cool gifts. lol.
Then after that just been relaxing. Finished The Bone Doll's Twin....very good book, but I desperately hope there is a sequel! I want to know what happens, for sure!
Did I already make note that the insurance claim is going through ok for my truck? If not, it is. :D If I did...I'm just going senile today. *G* Now just have to find the time to get it fixed, he thinks it'll take three, maybe four days. So either have to find alternative travel to get to work, or take the days off. Guess which I'd rather do? hehe. Gotta wait til my supervisor is back from surgery healing though, for that. Which, hopefully, is only 3 or 4 weeks.
