The last 24 hours

have been interesting. Went over to Heather's last night, and stopped at Taco Time first because she was craving mexican food. Spent maybe 15 minutes in line...and there were only two cars ahead of me! Who the heck knows why it took so long. The guy almost forgot to give me my drinks, I felt sorta bad for him. And that took forever, but turned out that's because he was filling one of those HUGE drinks instead of the normal sized one I was expecting. Sweet, but too much. lol.

Anyway, evening went well. Michael was in a good mood, at least until we took him out of the bath. LOL. THEN the power for the entire front room went OUT. No warning, no reason. Checked the breaker switch, didn't look like it was off, but tried the ones labeled for the front room anyway. No go. Discovered the hallway and Michael's room didn't work either. So...tried all the breaker switches. Multiple times, just in case. lol. No go, no one had any suggestions. She called her landlord and he was stopping by this morning..I'm guessing it's fixed. Hoping so, anyway. I mean, sure, grateful that the water and kitchen still worked, and the bedroom for the alarm, but it's still annoying. :) And not ***just*** for getting online, realllyyy!!! :D Now to catch up!

Scam Thingy

Saw this on a couple of journals, so figured I'd best share it as well.

Email Scam involving LJ users

I don't really think anyone I know of would fall for it...everyone posts pretty regular! But still, good to know what to look out for anyway. What a weird thing to scam for, anyway, all they need to do is pay for a couple of months and then go to being a free user if they need one THAT badly. ;)

Random Questions

Why is the date formatted weird in my journal? It's day/month/year and is confusing looking. lol. My computer itself looks to be correct, and I don't see any place to change it here on LJ.

Why does the order of my icons change sometimes? Most of the time, they're alphabetical. But on random moments, my Tick one goes from the bottom to the top of the list, and then back again next time I post. Weird!
