under my skin

Today, I'm planning on finally getting the oil in my truck changed. Meant to do it last month, and then all of a sudden it's July. Must also fill my gas tank and make the payment to Target. I am so cancelling that card as soon as it's paid off.

I miss all the birds at the bird feeder. Apparently they're all having fun elsewhere, now. Feeling a bit blue this morning but have hope that the day will improve. At least it's not Monday. :o)

My truck is happy--a full tank of gas, fresh oil and transmission fluid, and is all nice and vacuumed. Yay! Stopped by Target as well, picked up some staples like puffs plus and candles and also a very pretty lavender flowered bra. I love Target's clearance stuff, they have the neatest things sometimes. Also picked up a basic tank top, but it fits great and is nice and comfy. May have to go get another color after payday.

OOOhhhhh! Haven't heard this song for ages. I LOVE IT. Much Music is one of my fave new channels. lol.

It's feeling too warm to go hiking or mow the lawn. Think I'll wash dishes and then cook spaghetti instead. hehe. MMmm. Spaghetti. Crescent rolls with basil. *hungry*

heh, some guys came up in a carpet cleaning van...they're all, HI! How are you doing? I'm all...uh, fine? How are you? Then he goes we just spoke on the phone a little while ago...No, wasn't me. Turns out he wanted the landlords. lol. That's the really bad thing about sharing the driveway! At least they were nice enough for being random strangers.

The one thing I'm looking for, though, and not finding is how to change the "userinfo" link, the "forward" and "backward" ones, etc. Those heading ones, but I can't find any info on the sites I was browsing. :\

OH YUCK!!! My poor dog just vomited all over the floor. Twice! I think he sicked up all the water he's been drinking due to the heat...I almost got sick cleaning it up, but managed with just a few dry heaves instead. UGH.

After the dog incident....

THEN we get this phone call from my uncle to call him back, right away, on his cell phone. So, I go to write the # down, and he calls back, saying to call NOW. Try to sign OFF the computer, and the damn thing wouldn't sign off. Error....just sign off, already!!!! Then try to figure out how to turn mom's cell on, as it is different than mine, finally get it on....call uncle, and he doesn't ANSWER. UGh!!!!! Left a message on his phone saying mom was in the shower, and if he needed to speak to someone else, he could call back, otherwise she'd call when she was out. She calls, still no answer, so she calls my grandparents, no answer, calls my uncle's house and my cousin is there. He says that Papa said he's been achy all day, and then said his jaw was aching too, so they took him in to the hospital to be looked at. They're in the waiting room, which leads me to think it's not totally serious, but it's still freaky. :( It's possible it's related to the heat today, but it could be a heart attack. Will let you know tomorrow when I know more. O.o
