There were two blue jays on the porch a minute ago! SO PRETTY! They picked up a couple of stray pieces of dog food, looked around for more and then jaunted away. Neat!!

Yes that is neat. Birds add a lot to the beauty of life. Over in Montana there are Camprobbers. They look like Jays but they're gray. They are so bold they will fly in and sit on your finger if you give them a piece of food.

Yes, they do. They're so much fun to watch. That's so cool about the camprobbers! How thrilling to get to see one that close up.

Found out that our jays are Western Scrub Jays. I love actually *finding* things online, so cool to get to identify something you see all the time!
