That's cool. That's actually what I got the first time. I've only read the book once, but I must admit that I do not recall who the Numenorean are. My bad. :\
The Numenoreans are the line of men that Aragorn/Strider is descended from. Long lived and noble, they came about because an Elf decided to take on mortal life "way back in the olden days" and thus the line of Numenor was born.
It's Dunedain. And actually, I believe that's what's being referred to here. The Dunedain were the long-lived with elven blood. Numenorians are humans from Gondor (and the lost realm of Arnor). The One White Tree is in Gondor.
YES! That's the word, thank you. I need to reread the LotR books again, obviously. As soon as I can locate it...you'd think a book the size of the combined version would not be able to hide in the house. ;) Thanks for the info!
