dragon_moon: buckskin horse (beach by gravie)

This was quite possibly my favorite of all the welsh ponies we saw that day. I'd say she was Section D, because she was pretty much horse sized. Beautiful and sweet!

Gorgeous, but is that plaits I see in her mane?? The breed society states only the section Bs can be shown correctly with plaits on :/ They look much better with the mane flying free, especially with the snappy knee action :)

Could she be part-pred, or was it a class for pure breds only?

Mmm, it does look like plaits to me. It's been long enough I don't remember for sure. I prefer flying manes myself, but didn't know there was a rule in regards to it. Interesting!

No clue, actually. I couldn't find a flyer for the show. That particular class was just a mixed group of harness ponies..they had a beautiful little roan stallion, a couple of greys that I believe were Section B and a little chestnut. We saw that group plus this mare several times over, but no specifics other than that. I'm hoping to catch the Welsh show again this year and get to SEE more of it. ^___^
