There wasn't anything of interest on tv, so we landed on the horse racing channel. Sometimes it's irritating to watch because they don't focus on any of the horses in detail, but tonight it's been interesting. Right now they're going to have an Arabian race!! Too cool. We have also seen a couple of harness races, a Quarter Horse race, and then many Thoroughbred races of course. So much fun to see the (sometimes silly) names, gorgeous and shiny horses, and all that amazing strength and power. *sigh*
At work today everyone was speaking of vacations. I'm beginning to crave one, even if it is just a day trip. Perhaps the coast..it's nice this time of year. Shall have to see if it's something we can do in the next week or two, or if it'll have to be next month.
hehe, compared the the Thoroughbreds, the Arabians look *tiny*. I mean, they are much smaller, but it's quite dramatic. lol. Move Over! What a beautiful run. He won by 12-15 lengths according to the early commentary. Neat.
