deer!

You see some really crazy things while at lunch. I was taking a long lunch so I was over in the little park so I could read in the shade after eating. Hear a bit of a commotion over on the road--there's two DEER looking wild-eyed at the road and then they scrambled across in a rush. Thankfully they were actually at the crosswalk and made it across. Not exactly sure where they went--not across the park where it was nice and grassy. Maybe they went down into the culvert. Anyway, nice to see a bit of wildlife in a totally unexpected place. ^___^

Haha! That would be such a kick to see deer here. You have to go way out in the country to find them. It's so neat you get to see them like that.

Yeah, I love it when I get to see deer. We live out in the country (i.e. 25 minutes), but it's still such a treat. Seeing them IN town was wild!

My parents house has a group of deer that visits quite often.

That's really cool. I love seeing deer. They're so beautiful and graceful. Plus, I looooved the story Bambi as a child. I even had the Flinstones record version of the story, it was so awesome. *g*
