I hate waking up at 2:15 and being WIDE awake. Absolutely starving, so I had a granola bar and some water...maybe here in a few I'll actually get tired so I can go back to bed again. lol.

Didn't realize that it's been almost a week since I updated. Nothing spectacular to say and a bit stressed to boot. It's actually been a decent week, not sure exactly where the stress is coming from. Or, more to the point, thought I was dealing rather well with it for a change. lol. Guess it's just showing up in different forms for now.

ARRRGGGH. I officially don't like msn, at least not when it's not mine and I can't be signed out all the time, or be in and be ME. lol. I'm petsitting this weekend and that's what they have...one minute I'm all 'appear offline' and the next it's back ON for absolutely no reason. *sigh* And you lose a third of your screen space to the sidebars...okay, I'll stop whining now. lol. At least I have the opportunity to be online for a bit and I'm quite thankful for that, really. :o)

Brought over one of the cinnamon candles....YUM. It's so very nice. Discovering that I really, really love those candles in the jars, they usually smell REALLY good and last longer! Which is certainly fine by me.

I've officially become interested in gardening. hehe. I was into it last year a bit, but now that I know I can actually successfully grow some bulbs...ready to try new stuff. lol. Found some wonderful ideas in Sunset's Garden Guide. Found a grass to try if I can't find any Pampas Grass that's started and affordable. (Not that I've looked yet, just wishing). Want it for the one container that will mark the end of the 'invisible' fencing for the dogs. Which SHOULD come in soon, I hope!!! Want to get that back up, and hopefully the dogs won't tear it up again. Even experimenting with starting from seeds for some marigold and lavender plants...we'll see how that goes. If the first batch (with the EZ Grow Soil and cute little pails) works, then I'll finish up the packets with the egg carton idea. lol. Why do they package so many extra seeds anyway? It's cool, but I sort of thought it would be a one time thing. Guess not!

Enough for now, I'm gonna go back to bed. And I'll be better about more regular updates again, don't know what happened this week, other than my schedule being entirely off for everything. *g* Yeah, that might do it. G'nite. :o)

I've got huge portions of my yard that I want to rip out and plant wildflowers in. The ones that grow back every year and I don't have to maintain too much. I love gardening, but I didn't have the time for it when I worked one job, let alone two. It'll be interesting to see what I come up with now that I've got the money, but not the time.

Yeah, why won't time and money ever line up right to do what we really want? It's frustrating. I think your plan for wildflowers is a wonderful one, I love easy care stuff like that. Right now all of my plants are in containers, much easier to control and much less weeding. *g* I want to branch out and try daisies and sunflowers up the bank though..but that might be next year as opposed to this year. Just have to see what happens.

Ahhh, the comforts of gardening. I'd like to do some planting, but my life is so... whatever... I wouldn't have the time or enrgy.

I still want to grow another orange tree... but I'm trying to wait until I move back to Cali so I won't have to transport it across country!

You've grown an orange tree? Totally cool!! I'd love to try one, but they pollination seems a bit confusing on some of them. I wouldn't be able to do it if I was planting everything in the ground, but because it's all in containers it's actually fairly easy to upkeep them. Much less weeding, anyway. lol. It's enjoyable to see the results actually working. :D

Not fully grown... perhaps tree is getting ahead of what it was. It was a 2 year old, very tall, orange plant. No bark yet, but it grew to like 3 feet tall. I loved that plant (as much as you can love a plant)... I can't remember what happened to it, though...

Yah, mine were always in containers also (I am a city person! ^_^)

Cool- I can't wait to see how your garden progresses!

Awesome! Maybe in a year or two I'll try some sort of tree. I'll be experimenting with vegetables this year - zucchini, tomatoes, bell peppers and some herbs. The flowers have been fun, so now to try something different and edible. *g*

Yay! If I take any pics I'll post them up here. I should be able to get some here in a bit, once they start blooming a little bit more all over the place. :o)
