Today was better than yesterday at work. Had salmon and chips for lunch--yum. Also picked up a couple of cards to send to friends, stamps to mail said cards and bills, a beeeee-u-tiful liver dalmatian beanie baby, and a lovely horse calendar for work. One of my coworkers has been freaked out by my bugged-out-eye kitty cat for long enough. lol.
I'm not up on pictures that much, but after hearing many complaints about the quality of JPG's I've been trying BMP's and PNG's. The BMP's look great, but load slowly and not consistently. My header image shows up once in five for me. Attempted a PNG - it loads into the image editor beautifully, but it won't load on the page at all. It's just a giant black box. Is it just my computer? Just being in the web editor? Here's the link: http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/dragonmoon/images/back/dragonFObannerlong.PNG
Please let me know if it loads. And if it's better quality or loads more quickly than the BMP one currently up. Thank you, thank you. ^___^

Date: 2004-08-17 07:10 pm (UTC)From:for what it's worth, both files upload fine on my computer at home. I know they won't at work, my browser is too outdated to support png's and bmp's. whee.

Date: 2004-08-18 05:14 pm (UTC)From:Well, glad to know you could see them okay. The PNG one loads fine one minute and is a black box the next, at the top left corner vs the middle of the page. Who knows. I won't switch to that one, that's for sure. ^___^
Thanks for the tips. I'll go back to my JPG ways. I'm used to them, anyway. *makes note to never ever upsize them*
