Closet Excavation

Spent one whole hour just trying on clothes!! Was actually much more fun than I thought it would be. Discovered that I no longer love some turtlenecks enough to keep them any longer....too hard to get over my glasses all the time! LOL. Have a whole stack of clothes to give away, some that actually are getting thrown out, some as a reward for losing that fabled 5/10 pounds, and then quite a few that I simply forgot about. O.o Next project is cleaning out the dresser so that I can put away my good clothes and actually get to them (therefore, not forget about them again!). (Yeah, yeah, I know...packrat tendencies. I'm getting better, truly. Scary!)
Anyway, when I got tired of trying on clothes but was still in the mood to clean out, started going through some of the boxes on the closet floor. Threw out a LOT of stuff, and found a huge stack of informative artices and recipes to get organized. Then I'll be able to throw out lots more. And I've decided that I'm only going to keep my Jay Buhner cards and my faves of the others I had, and then maybe try selling the rest of them on ebay or something. I really doubt any of them are worth much though, I know I didn't buy any expensive ones. ^__^
Anyway, it was a very nice afternoon. Got the grocery shopping out of the way tonight. Whoo!

Isn't it weird how materialistic things consume our lives sometimes?

Yeah, it is pretty amazing how much time and energy they can consume...and very strange how much time it takes to get organized enough that they'll take less time in the long run. lol. Terrible cycle, sometimes!
