Ok, spent most of the afternoon looking at horse pictures, then got onto model/resin pictures from there. Google image is a neat thing, but it's frustrating when it shows you a picture that is NO longer there and you want to see it bigger. ;D

Anyway, if you want to see a fantastic horse go to "resins" then click on the extra photos for "Maximus/Max". They have a celtic max, a LotR max and one with a wolfhound. Really neat.

There's some more of a really neat looking Maximus there, and a Bailador resin that is just beautiful as well. I was looking for Waylander (friesian/andalusian crosses) photos, and stumbled across the webshots entry because she shows hers as a Waylander. Neat idea!

Date: 2006-12-23 02:56 am (UTC)From:Have you CM'd at all? I'd recommend starting with one that isn't your favorite. The first one tends not to be a keeper, you know?! hehe. I've used craft type acrylics and acrylics in the tube, and I do prefer the tubes but they cost more so it depends how much you think you'll like doing it in the long run. What colors are you wanting to start with? Are you wanting to try to add mohair/thread or just repaint? I don't want to throw too much info at you all at once especially if it's not the area you're interested in, so let me know what you'd like to do and I'll see if I can give a few tips. ^___^
