Today's been a good day. Woke up feeling pretty good, which is always nice.

Got the necessary stuff like taking garbage out to the dump done, and then got batteries to see if that would help our invisible fencing problem. Of course it doesn't. We've now got a light, but the collars don't work. So who knows what's wrong now. But, then my uncle took us over to a coworker's of his place - they're moving to eastern oregon, and therefore are needing to sell their place. It's a bit smaller than I had really pictured, but very cute and not tiny either. Plus, they have a dog kennel, a paddock with two stalls, a shop, and a privacy fence against the road/neighbor. And the whole yard is graveled! NO MOWING required! Amazing. lol. Would work out perfectly since we're already used to growing flowers in containers. *G* Then down the road we could fence in the last side of the property and add a gate, so the dogs could have free reign of the place. Wonderful.

Trying not to get too thrilled about it, since I won't even make it to the credit union until later in the week to see what I can qualify for....and even if miracles occur and I do qualify...that in itself is highly nerve wracking!! Still, it's more exciting than terrifying, all things considered. Plus, it's in a more country setting than most of the places that are remotely in our price range, so that's cool. Here's hoping we hear good news on the loan end of things.... Meeep!

Got to see the Belmont today, was afraid I'd miss it. I am disappointed that War Emblem didn't get to win the Triple Crown, but since that didn't happen I'm glad that the horse who won has a neat back story along with his trainer. Pretty darn cool for the underdog to win every once in a while! Whooo!

Then went to this neat little flower shop place before grocery shopping...called Petal Pushers. hehe. Cute! They've got the most precious ideas for planters though! Stumps with flowers in the center spot, old cowboy boots, those collectible tins you never know what to put in, old kid's wagons, old doll beds, and so on. Very clever! And they had some really pretty flowers, as well. lol. Mom bought Grandma a gorgeous fuschia/pretty trailing blue/purple flower hanging basket, and I bought a lovely flame red plant that starts with a c. *G* Going to put one of my pretty tins to use as a planter now.

The grocery store was swamped with people tonight and was not fun to shop in. But, did run into a coworker, so that was kinda cool! She's sweet. And then..after shopping (FOR FOOD, mind you), we no longer felt like cooking so swung by the wonderful Taco Bell for dinner. YUM. Gotta love it. Besides, leaves more food for the rest of the week, riiight? hehe.

I'm tired. Going to go to bed now. G'nite! ^__^
