Had a lovely family dinner last night - Papa had called Mom when she was on her way to meet me for dinner and shopping, and so we all met at Lok Yaun for dinner. Mmmm, I love Lok Yaun. The best thing about it is that you get a ton of wonderful chinese food so you're happy at dinner, and lunch the next day, and likely lunch the next day as well. YAY! :o)
I'm starting to go through the piles of paper that I've been stockpiling around my room - you know, all the stuff that needs to be filed, or scanned, or tiny little tidbits noted. So I'm going to start posting random bits in my journal so I can actually recycle those papers instead of continuing to store them. Whew.
So starting with an October 05 Health tidbit:
♥ Add a diced apple to your green salad (I already do this one! YAY!)
♥ Mix apple chunks with berries and nuts, and drizzle with vanilla yogurt.
♥ Layer apple slices, a few pieces of turkey, and low-fat cheese on whole-grain bread. Heat in a pan until the cheese melts. (Another variation on this that I've made: turkey, apple and brie cheese. Mmmm! Flipping it is the only problem.)
